Tours are completely free, but reservations are strongly encouraged due to limited parking.   <description><![CDATA[Thursday, April 30, 2026<p>A temporary visitors’ center is now open at the Kona Hawaii Temple site, offering Church members, community residents, and island visitors an opportunity to learn more about the temple and its construction progress. Much of the temple exterior has been clad in stone, and crews have begun work on the surrounding hardscape. Current activities include excavation, layout work with chalk lines, and installation of new fencing.   <description><![CDATA[Wednesday, April 29, 2026<p>With stone cladding now covering much of the north elevation of the Teton River Idaho Temple, installation efforts have shifted to the east side, including the front portico. On the west side, framing is in place for the rear portico, where those who have been sealed will exit to greet family and friends. Vertical steel I-beams are rising from the main floor structure, which is anchored to the concrete foundation below. Construction materials and equipment are staged nearby to support the ongoing vertical work.   <description><![CDATA[Monday, April 27, 2026<p>An updated rendering for the Buenos Aires City Center Argentina Temple reveals a redesigned and repositioned steeple. The original multitiered tower with a tapering gold spire has been replaced by a slender, needle-like spire that rises above the front center section of the building. The multistory temple will be constructed on a former parking lot at the intersection of Avenida Córdoba and Reconquista in the San Nicolás neighborhood of downtown Buenos Aires. The bright white cladding accentuates the temple’s mission-style architectural features.   <title>Dewatering Progress at the Heber Valley Utah Temple Site</title>
  <description><![CDATA[Saturday, April 25, 2026<p>A temporary dewatering system is in place at the Heber Valley Utah Temple site where shallow groundwater is being extracted into nearby Lake Creek. The dewatering process poses no flood risk and does not impact the deep aquifers used for irrigation and drinking water. Once the foundation is in place, active pumping will transition to a passive, gravity-fed French drain system.   <description><![CDATA[Tuesday, April 21, 2026<p>The new Nauvoo Temple Visitors’ Center will be dedicated by Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The date marks the 24th anniversary of the dedication of the reconstructed Nauvoo Illinois Temple and commemorates the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, who were killed in Carthage, Illinois, on June 27, 1844. The restored Brigham and Mary Ann Young Home will also be rededicated. The new visitors’ center features historical artifacts, interactive exhibits, a short film, a Tiffany stained-glass window of Jesus Christ, and children’s activities. Martinez of the United States West Area Presidency read a First Presidency statement that said: "We are pleased to announce the construction of a temple in Marysville, Washington. The specific location and timing of the construction will be announced later. This is a reason for all of us to rejoice and express gratitude for such a significant blessing — one that will allow more frequent access to the ordinances, covenants and power that can only be found in the house of the Lord." The event marked a historic milestone for the Church in the states of Piauí and Maranhão, located in northeastern Brazil. Elder Ciro Schmeil, First Counselor in the Brazil Area Presidency, presided at the event.
