Growing up in Pocatello, Idaho, I participated in youth trips to the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple to perform proxy baptisms and confirmations. The spirit I felt in and around the temple penetrated my soul. This was especially true when I saw the Salt Lake Temple for the first time as a boy, and I knew that the temple would play a significant role in my life. My love for the temple grew through adolescence, and I hung over 30 temple photographs to decorate my bedroom. To me, these temples were truly The House of the Lord.

In preparation for a full-time mission, I traveled to my favorite cousin's house in Bountiful and received my endowment in the Bountiful Utah Temple on my 19th birthday. The next weekend, my mom and I attended sessions at seven different temples in Utah in three days. Ever since, the highlight of any vacation for me is the opportunity to attend a temple, especially a temple I have not visited before.

After serving a two-year mission in Puerto Rico, I transferred my college credits from Idaho State University to Brigham Young University. This website began as a computer project for one of my first classes there, and I have maintained it ever since. I graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in computer science and went on to receive a master's degree in business information systems from Utah State University. Following my education, I returned to Pocatello where I am employed as a website administrator.

On April 2, 2017, President Thomas S. Monson announced plans to construct the Pocatello Idaho Temple. I immediately fell to my knees in gratitude to the Lord for the realization of such a cherished blessing and for answering years of prayers. The temple was built next to the meetinghouse where I attend church, and I find joy in attending often. Just a year and a half after this announcement, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans for the San Juan Puerto Rico Temple—a blessing for the people I came to love during my missionary service.

It is my sincerest desire to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to share the spirit of the temple, Holiness to the Lord, with all who come to this website. Please enjoy your visit!
