Cody Wyoming Temple Leaders Called

Jerry Michael Snyder and Clarlyn Ellen Workman Snyder of the Worland Wyoming Stake have been called as president and matron of the new Cody Wyoming Temple. President Snyder is a patriarch, Primary teacher and temple sealer and former temple presidency counselor, mission presidency counselor, stake president, bishop and high councilor. Sister Snyder is a ward Primary teacher, patriarch’s scribe and temple worker and former assistant to the matron and stake Relief Society presidency counselor.

Montpelier Idaho Temple President and Matron Called

Bart Orr Christensen and Cherie Lynn Bullock Christensen of the Grace Idaho Stake have been called as president and matron of the new Montpelier Idaho Temple. President Christensen is a temple sealer and former stake president, bishop and high councilor. Sister Christensen is a temple worker and former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president and ward Primary presidency counselor.

Steeple Frame Installed Atop the Natal Brazil Temple

The Natal Brazil Temple has reached new heights with the installation of the steeple framework atop the structure, further defining its vertical profile. Exterior façade work is underway as crews secure cladding panels over concrete walls that have been prepared with a vapor barrier, advancing the building envelope. Construction on the temple began eleven months ago in the beautiful community of Nova Parnamirim.

Nauvoo Temple Visitors' Center to Be Dedicated in June

The new Nauvoo Temple Visitors’ Center will be dedicated by Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The date marks the 24th anniversary of the dedication of the reconstructed Nauvoo Illinois Temple and commemorates the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, who were killed in Carthage, Illinois, on June 27, 1844. The restored Brigham and Mary Ann Young Home will also be rededicated. The new visitors’ center features historical artifacts, interactive exhibits, a short film, a Tiffany stained-glass window of Jesus Christ, and children’s activities. The dedicatory session will be broadcast live for all who wish to participate.
