Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

A new coat of gold leaf has been applied to the fiberglass figure of the angel Moroni atop the Accra Ghana Temple. The temple currently serves members from seven countries organized into 68 stakes and 29 districts. A second temple for Ghana has been announced for the city of Kumasi, and temples are currently under construction in the West African countries of Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) and Sierra Leone. Plans have also been announced for a temple in Liberia.
