Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

An artistic rendering of the Jacksonville Florida Temple has been released to the public. The single-story temple of approximately 29,000 square feet will be built on a 6.6-acre site located at 3323 Loretto Road in Jacksonville. It will be the fifth temple constructed in the Sunshine State, following the Orlando Florida Temple (1994), Fort Lauderdale Florida Temple (2014), Tallahassee Florida Temple (2024), and Tampa Florida Temple (announced).

The First Presidency has released the location for the Jacksonville Florida Temple site. The single-story, 29,000-square-foot temple will stand on a 6.6-acre property located at 3323 Loretto Road in Jacksonville. There are two dedicated temples in Florida—the Orlando Florida Temple (which will soon undergo renovation) and the Fort Lauderdale Florida Temple. Construction of the Tallahassee Florida Temple is nearing completion, and the site location for the Tampa Florida Temple has been announced.
