Temples Under Renovation
There are currently 9 temples that are undergoing major renovation. Following each renovation, the temple will be opened to the public for an open house before being rededicated for ordinance work.
44th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; preparing for public open house beginning 13 February 2025
45th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; exterior refurbishment completed; interior work progressing
46th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; renovation getting underway
70th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; majority of temple and grounds demolished; preparing for reconstruction
54th dedicated temple in operation; open during renovation; forming the main floor walls
4th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; plazas completed and open to public; temple load transferred to new foundation; building the entry and visitor pavilions; renovations underway on Assembly Hall, Lion House, and Beehive House
34th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; former temple demolished; replacement temple in early phases of reconstruction
15th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; installing foundation and elevator shafts
119th dedicated temple in operation; closed for renovation; scaffolding and covered sidewalk erected around the temple
